FREQUENCY OF USING

The frequency of appearance of articles about robots shows a constant growth. In the middle of the last century there could be only several articles a year about robots. But these days there could hardly be a single day without an article about or with robots or artificial intelligence.

In the beginning of our century the authors of newspaper articles tend to use the pronoun ‘it’ to describe robots.

In the materials of The Independent for the whole 1993 there were only 37 articles with the word ‘robot’.

The same number of articles – 37 – with the word ‘robot’ is listed only in February 2018.
