MECHANICAL CREATURES

The idea of artificial creatures that can do various operations goes back to ancient times – Ancient China, Egypt and Greece.


The technical drawings of mechanical knight were made by the genius of Leonardo da Vinci back in 1495.


Later on the entertainment industry people started using exciting curiosities in the form of unusual mechanisms which were almost like living creatures.


The Victorian era started a real thrill about automatic devices.
